After researching some scholarships I came across the Design NSW: Traveling Scholarship. It is a scholarship granted by the Powerhouse Museum and Arts NSW in partnership with the British Council. It grants one winner $18,000 in financial support for a program of professional development overseas, support and advice from the British Council in facilitating up to eight introductions to leading practitioners in your field. This scholarship is available for emerging desingers not established designers and those who have graduated in the last five years. This would be a great scholarhsip to win not only because of the grant it provides but perhaps more importantly the introductions to the British industry representatives.
